What Does Wedding Photography Coverage Include?
What a MediaManiaK wedding booking actually covers, from getting-ready through to the reception.
Short answer: A MediaManiaK wedding booking covers everything from getting-ready through to the reception, with photography and film produced by one team working to one plan rather than two separate suppliers coordinating on the day. Exactly how much of the day is covered depends on the hours booked.
What is typically covered, start to finish
- Preparation and getting-ready — the morning-of moments before the ceremony.
- The ceremony — photographed and filmed depending on the package.
- Couple and family portraits.
- Reception, speeches and the first dance.
- Detail and decor photography — the things that took months to plan and disappear in a day.
- A second photographer, added where the day’s schedule requires it.
- Aerial coverage, at venues where it is suitable.
What you receive afterwards
- An edited, high-resolution gallery, colour-graded by hand.
- A highlight film and/or full ceremony film, depending on the package.
- A private online gallery your family and guests can view and download from.
Delivery is typically three to four weeks for the full edited gallery, with a preview set delivered within a few days of the wedding.
How coverage scales with hours booked
The shortest packages cover the ceremony only. Full-day packages run from six to twelve hours and cover everything from preparation through to the last dance, with more edited images and longer films included as the hours increase. The exact structure is shown on the Wedding Photography & Film page, where every package is bookable online.
Does this cover traditional and cultural ceremonies?
Yes, including traditional, Hindu, Muslim and multi-day celebrations. Coverage is planned around the structure of the specific ceremony rather than treated as a standard timeline.
Can we book photography and film together?
Yes, and it is what most couples choose. Combined coverage is planned and produced as one production rather than two suppliers working independently, which is also why the gallery and the film end up feeling like they belong to the same day.
What about destination or two-day weddings?
MediaManiaK travels across South Africa and internationally for weddings, with travel and accommodation quoted transparently as part of the proposal.
